Do you feel tired?
Do you feel it may be due to lack of sleep or bad eating habits?
Perhaps that is true.
Let us talk about the elephant in the room.
Maybe the elephant in the room causing you lack of sleep, pains or bad eating habits.
Let us talk about all the energy we spend to keep up an image behind a mask. That is very tiring to do every day. Do you agree?
Take several slow deep breaths and listen carefully to what your body is telling you.
What emotions come up?
Are you surprised what shows up? Can you name them?
How much energy do you spend to put a lid on your anger?
How much energy do you spend to put a lid on your disappointments?
How much energy do you spend to deny the reality?
How much energy do you spend to put a lid on your hurts?
There are many reasons why we do not express what we feel and avoid acknowledging them.
The first step for us is to become aware of what we are doing before we try to understand why we do it.
Next time you feel tired, take several deep breaths. Observe the emotions that is held within your body. Listen to their messages. Acknowledge the pink elephant in the room.
