| I was born in Tehran, Iran. My father was a surgeon
and my mom a midwife. They provided a comfortable life for me.
My parents worked a lot, but I was blessed with many loving family
members who provided me love and care when my parents had to
take care of their patients.
At age seventeen, I came to the United States to continue
my education. I obtained my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering
from the University of Minnesota in 1986.
I married my soul mate and wife, Tammy, in 1981. We have a
daughter, and son, who we are very proud of whom they have
become.
Tend Your Garden Within arose from many years of searching
for my spirituality and my life's purpose. The catalyst for
this book, was my father's fatal accident in 2006 in Tehran,
Iran. Since 2006, I have gone through many personal transformations.
I have documented my thoughts, emotions, and inspiration, through
poems and short articles. I am pleased to share with you, the
reader, some techniques that have helped me during my journey. |
